Many thanks to all Spartans and Terriers players, both old and new, who turned out on Saturday.

The club, however, would like to give an extra special mention to Fergus Dowd, Tony Parker and Kevin Little, for their work in organising the cycle ride, auction, etc.

Manufactured by Italian sportswear giants Errea, the shirt benefits from the latest technology to ensure that the shirt always looks it’s best whatever the conditions.

The shirt will be available to buy at the club shop within Croft Park on Friday night from 7-9pm. The shirt will also be available from the same place on Saturday, but the club and Supporters Club are aware that the focus of Saturday is to raise as much money as possible for Scotty and his fund.

The shirt will then be made available via the online shop soon after that.

In a move which will be popular with supporters, when the players take to the field they will wear the shirt with the club’s traditional black shorts.

The new shirts are priced at £40 for adults and are available in various sizes.

In what has been a disaster of a season for the Spartans, one small chink of enjoyment and excitement has been the loan return of Robert Dale and he is awarded the final Player of the Month this season.

The month saw him pick up 3 MOTM awrds for the 5 games that he played and also saw him make his 300th appearance in a Spartans shirt as well as move onto 99 goals for the club in the process.

MAN OF THE MATCH

Joe Kendrick

Although the left back was partly at fault for Nuneaton’s second goal, he made up for it in some style with a sublime free kick to equalise for Spartans. This was his sixth goal for the club since arriving on loan from Mansfield Town in February. He was generally good in possession and his dead ball deliveries were of decent quality.
